Experience  an unforgettable Private Luxury African Safari in Botswana. Botswana is  truly wild and unspoilt with abundant wildlife and offers the most  luxurious safari lodges in Africa. From the lush waterways of the  Okavango Delta to the shimmering white salt pans of Makgadikgadi Pans,  Botswana offers a perfect African Safari destination for discerning  travelers and honeymooners. Visit the Kalahari and learn about the  ancient culture of The Bushmen who lives in harmony with the natural  environment in the Kalahari. On a Private Luxury Safari in Botswana, go  on guided game drives, nature walks, river cruises and mokoros (dugout  canoes) through flooded plains to fully appreciate Botswana's legendary  wildlife and natural beauty.

To  experience the ultimate African Safari, combine the Okavango Delta, the  Kalahari and the Makgadikgadi National Park. Stay at luxurious lodges  at the Mombo Concession of the Moremi Game Reserve, known as the  'Predator Capital of Africa' and enjoy game viewing. Go for mokoro  rides, enjoy the gentle pace of a mokoro, a real introduction to a way  of transport still use in the Delta by the 'river bushmen' or BaYei  people. Sit back and relax as you glide through lily ponds on local  dugout canoes while seeing eye to eye with a buffalo as it laps water  from the river, watch crocodiles sunbathe on the banks or cruise past a  pod of hippos as they lie in a pool. Visit some of the Kalahari's  meerkats in the morning, learn about the traditional culture of the  Botswana people at a remote cattle-post. Watch the awe-inspiring  spectacle of the last surviving zebra and wildebeest migration in  Southern Africa while enjoying a picnic lunch in the shade of a grove of  trees.

The  Republic of Botswana is a landlocked country located in Southern  Africa. It is a flat country dominated by the Kalahari Desert, which  covers up to 70% of its land. It is bordered by South Africa to the  south and southeast, Namibia to the west and north, and Zimbabwe to the  northeast. Its border with Zambia to the north near Kazungula is a few  hundred meters long.

Best Time to visit Botswana

Botswana  is a year-round destination. Based on what you want to experience, you  can decide when to travel. Game viewing is great during the dry winter  months of May through October. June through August are cooler with  virtually no rainfall so those months could be considered ideal. Travel  to Botswana in the green season is more affordable and may also provide a  more personal experience due fewer travelers in the region. Botswana's  Central Kalahari offer excellent game viewing during the green season.  For bird watchers and bird photographers, the green season (wet season)  are considered the best.
