Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Nairobi

Upon  your arrival into Nairobi, you will be met at Jomo Kenyatta  International Airport and transferred by our representative in a private  vehicle.

Day 2: Nairobi- Tsavo East National Park

Fly  to one of Kenya's oldest and largest national parks, Tsavo National  Park. Tsavo East has wonderful scenery in particular the Mudanda Rock  and the Yatta Plateau, the largest lava flow in the world.

Satao Camp- Tsavo East - Tents or Similar; Meals: B L D


Day 3: Tsavo East National Park

Full day of game-viewing wildlife such as large herds of elephant, endemic Desert Warthog, Hirola and Peter's Gazelle.

Day 4: Tsavo East National Park - Tsavo West National Park

Drive  to Tsavo West national park to the Mzima Springs, a pool of natural  spring water with crystal clear water for underwater viewing of the  mighty hippos

Day 5: Tsavo West National Park

Full day of game-viewing such as the Fringe-eared Oryx, Klipspringer and the Masai Giraffe

Day 6: Mount Kenya National Park

Fly  Tsavo West to Nairobi. After a leisurely breakfast transfer to the  Kilaguni airstrip in time for your one hour flight to Nairobi. Fly  Nairobi to Nanyuki. Fly for approximately thirty northwards to the  Equator and the frontier town of Nanyuki. Met on arrival and transferred  to your overnight accommodations in time for lunch.

Day 7: Mt Kenya National Park- Samburu Game Reserve

Drive  for three to four hours northwards, across the Equator and onto the  Samburu National Reserve. Rugged and remote, this wildlife reserve  provides some of the best and most colourful game viewing in the  country. Arrive in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive.

Day 8 & 9: Samburu Game Reserve

Full  day of game viewing. It is home to six special big game species rarely  seen elsewhere; Grevy's zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich,  Gerenuk, Guenther's Dik-Dik and Beisa Oryx.

Day 10: Samburu National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park

After  breakfast you set off for a six hour drive towards the Rift Valley  floor via Nyahururu and onto the famous Lake Nakuru National Park,  renowned for its birdlife and as one of Kenya's most successful Rhino  Sanctuaries. This park also provides sanctuary for Rothschild giraffe,  both black and while rhino and leopard. More importantly however of the  world population of 5 million flamingos, 3 million thrive on The Great  Rift Valley soda lakes such as Nakuru. (Lunch shall be taken en route).  Fresh trout lunch at The Trout-Tree Restaurant

Day 11: Samburu National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park

Day  spent in Lake Nakuru National Park, home to the "greatest bird  spectacle in the world". This internationally recognized catch phrase  that was actually coined in 1960 by one of our first safari guests,  American author, naturalist and founder of the Audubon Society, Roger  Tory Peterson.

Day 12: Lake Nakuru National Park - Masai Mara Game Reserve

Enjoy  a scenic 6 hr drive via The Great Rift Valley and Narok with a picnic  lunch to the Masai Mara Game Reserve, while viewing plenty of big game,  rolling grasslands and picturesque volcanic scenery.

Day 13 & 14: Masai Mara Game Reserve

Full  day of game viewing. The Mara/Serengeti eco-system is perhaps the only  region left in Africa where the visitors may see animals just in as much  abundance as they existed over a 100 years ago.

Day 15: Back to Nairobi

After  en early morning game drive, you will transferred to the nearby  airstrip for your flight to Nairobi.  Day room and and lunch at Ole  Sereni Hotel. City tour of Nairobi. JK International Airport transfer for onward flight.
